We are working hard to keep our guests, our housekeepers, our family and the local community safe whilst you stay at one of the three properties at Monnington House.
We are following the guidance from PASC UK which outlines the new cleaning and safety requirements following government guidance. We have created risk assessments and revised our cleaning methods.
We are following the advice from PASC UK, the AA (who supply our star rating) and Visit England. The properties have their usual clean followed by a disinfectant clean. Attention is given to touch points. All crockery is rewashed between bookings and all laundry is washed at 60 degrees. Between changeovers the properties are misted using the Bioguard Rapid Decontamination System.
We have been given the Good to Go accreditation from Visit England and the AA Covid Confidence Assessment scheme.
Our bespoke measures
- Hand sanitiser at the entrance to the properties
- Hand sanitiser is provided in the games room and table tennis room
- Revised cleaning programme
- Covid welcome tray which includes some disposable gloves and masks, hand sanitiser, liquid soap, zoflora disinfectant, antiviral spray, disinfectant spray, anti viral wipes
- We have removed some cushions, throws, objects to reduce the risk of touch contamination
- Remote controls are disinfected and bagged
- Guest information is emailed through prior to arrival
If you have symptoms of COVID -19
Should a member of your group develop symptoms the Government advice is to return to your primary residence and self isolate for a period of 7 days (14 days for other group members). If you are seriously unable to follow this advice and you have to self isolate at our properties then you will be responsible for paying for all bookings that will have to be cancelled as a result of your extended stay, professional cleaning and any other costs incurred.
If you return home as a result of developing symptoms please advise us as the cleaning protocols are different.
We do ask you to help us
Please do not come to our properties if you do not feel well or have had symptoms of COVID-19 within the previous 14 days.
Please do not arrive before the agreed check in time. Our cleaning schedules have increased substantially.
Whilst at the properties please continue to social distance and to regularly wash your hands.
Before you depart we ask you to strip your beds and bag up the laundry and place where advised for collection. We ask you to bring your towels and bathmats to the laundry area of the house. Please open all windows before your departure and flush all WCs in property and leave the lids down. Please empty all rubbish and place in dustbins. Please fill up dishwashers and turn on.
