Brobury House, Gardens & Cafe

Explore the enchanting gardens, from water features, rare species of trees, beautiful flowering borders and views over the Wye. In the centre of the grounds is Brobury House, a charming turreted Victorian building which in spring has the most magnificent bloom of purple wisteria. Well behaved dogs on leads are always welcome in the gardens and the café at Brobury House. You can walk here from the house down the Wye Valley Walk and by the river; it takes about an hour.

Hergest Croft Gardens

A 70-acre garden with stunning views towards the Black Mountains. Created over 120 years by four generations of the Banks family, Hergest Croft has a unique collection of over 5,000 rare plants, trees and shrubs as well as more than 90 ‘Champion’ trees. There are gorgeous flower borders, an old fashioned Kitchen Garden, Azalea Garden, Maple Grove, and Park Wood. Spectacular spring and autumn colour make this a garden for all seasons.

The Weir Garden

Highlights include a beautiful 10-acre riverside garden created in the late 18th century including ancient trees, a rockery, Roman ruins and a picturesque picnic area next to the river. Discover the historic walled garden, with colourful flower borders, seasonal produce and a 1920s Foster & Pearson glasshouse. Explore the rich history of the parkland as you stroll through it, encountering Roman remains such as a bathhouse and stone buildings. Discover a terraced earth from the Iron Age, traces of a Roman road, and the remnants of an engineered mill pond.
